In order to game, you need the console (the Nintendo Wii, the Xbox 360, the Play Station, etc.) and something to view it on.
A TV is good, or you can use a projector and screen when possible.
Gaming in libraries should ideally be "larger than life"! (Afterall, anyone can sit home and play on their tv or other small screen, but it's not everyday you can show up with some friends and play Rock Band on a huge screen on the wall, in the dark, with great sound!)
You might also want some great speakers you can attach either to the TV or the projector.
